Participant Registry
Adding Participants
- From your project, tap Participants
- Tap Add Participant
- Enter participant details:

Privacy
- Participant data is stored locally on your device
- Data syncs to your secure cloud project when connected
- You control what identifying information to collect
- Pseudonyms are recommended for sensitive research
Consent Management
Creating Consent Forms
- Go to project settings
- Tap Consent Forms
- Create a form with:
- Study title and description
- Researcher information
- What participation involves
- Risks and benefits
- Data usage and storage policies
- Right to withdraw
Capturing Consent
For each participant:
- Open the participant’s profile
- Tap Capture Consent
- Present the consent form
- Record consent via:
- Signature — On-screen signature capture
- Audio — Verbal consent recording (important for non-literate participants)
- Checkbox — Digital acknowledgment
Consent Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Consent not yet captured |
| Granted | Participant has consented |
| Withdrawn | Participant has withdrawn consent |
Best Practices
- Always capture consent before collecting data
- Use audio consent for participants who cannot sign
- Explain the study in the participant’s language
- Keep consent records linked to participant profiles
- Respect withdrawal — stop data collection immediately
